Terms of Service

Guidon is intended for members and organizations of State Defense Forces and allied emergency-response bodies. You are responsible for the accuracy of your record and for keeping your login secure.

Use Guidon only for lawful, authorized purposes. Do not misuse the service, attempt to access data you are not authorized to see, disrupt operations, or upload unlawful content.

You retain rights to the information you submit. You grant Guidon the license needed to host and display it to operate the service for you and your organization.

Paid plans are billed as described at signup. Plans may be canceled any time; on cancellation your file becomes read-only rather than deleted, unless you delete your account.

Guidon is a coordination tool, not a 911 or emergency dispatch service. In a life-threatening emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number. Do not rely on Guidon alerts or location features as your sole means of summoning help.

SOS, alerts, and location sharing depend on connectivity and are not guaranteed. These features require working cellular or internet service and GPS on your device and on the recipients’ devices. They may be delayed, degraded, or fail entirely — for example where there is no signal, the device is off, out of battery, in airplane mode, or has permissions disabled, or when the service is interrupted. Delivery, receipt, timeliness, and location accuracy are not guaranteed. Never rely on Guidon as your only way to summon help, and always call 911 for a true emergency.

The service is provided “as is” without warranties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Guidon is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

You may stop using Guidon and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
