Privacy Policy

Account & profile data you provide: name, rank, contact details, service history, specialty, unit assignment, and — if you choose to add them — emergency contacts and medical information for responder safety.

Operational data generated in use: availability, orders and check-ins, timestamps, and location onlywhen you turn on location sharing during an active mission.

Device & usage data: basic log and diagnostic information needed to operate and secure the service.

To provide the service — maintaining your record, routing orders, tracking accountability during activations, and supporting after-action and reimbursement reporting for your organization.

To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

Location is collected only while you enable sharing on an active mission, is visible only to your command for that mission, and stops when the mission ends or you turn it off. You control it in Settings.

Your organization's command staff can see the record and operational data relevant to their role and unit. We use vetted infrastructure providers to host and deliver the service under confidentiality obligations.

We keep your data while your account is active. You can edit your record any time, and you can delete your account from Settings — this removes your personal profile data and signs you out. Some records your organization is legally required to retain may persist in anonymized, de-identified form.

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data in transit and at rest.

Guidon is intended for members of State Defense Forces and is not directed to children under 13.
